Nilayo's Managing Director was honoured for her contribution to the growth of sports business and event management in Nigeria.
Mrs. Yetunde Olopade, Managing Director and CEO of Nilayo Sports Management Limited, has been awarded the prestigious Newstap/SWAN 5-Star Award in recognition of her outstanding contribution to sports development and business management in Nigeria.
The award, presented by the Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN) in partnership with Newstap, celebrates individuals who have demonstrated exceptional leadership and impact within Nigeria's sports industry. Under Mrs. Olopade's leadership, Nilayo has grown from managing a single road race into one of Africa's most respected sports marketing and event management agencies.
Speaking after receiving the award, Mrs. Olopade dedicated the recognition to the entire Nilayo team and the athletes, partners, and communities that have supported the company's flagship properties, including the Access Bank Lagos City Marathon.
