The Bayelsa State Government and Nilayo Sports Management Limited have announced a new partnership to deliver the inaugural Yenagoa City International 10KM Race, bringing international-standard road racing to Bayelsa State for the first time.
The race is expected to draw elite and mass-participation runners from across Nigeria and the wider Niger Delta region, showcasing Yenagoa's growing profile as a destination for sport, tourism, and investment.
Nilayo Sports Management will serve as the organising and marketing partner for the event, overseeing athlete recruitment, sponsorship, logistics, and community engagement — building on its track record with the Lagos City Marathon, Abeokuta 10KM Race, and other properties across the country.
