Nilayo Sports Management has confirmed that the second edition of the PremiumTrust Bank Abuja City International Half Marathon will be held in November 2026, following the extraordinary success of the event's inaugural edition in 2024.
The 2024 inaugural edition drew over 50,000 participants — a number that vastly exceeded initial projections — and demonstrated the enormous appetite for world-class road racing in Nigeria's Federal Capital Territory.
The 2026 edition will build significantly on the first edition's foundation, with a stronger field of elite athletes, expanded community running categories, and enhanced sponsor activation zones.
